We have now sterilised 266 animals and Rabies vaccinated 290 we are working until the 27th March in our current location and then early April we have another 5 surgical days planned , we are currently reviewing locations for that and we had local politicians attend today asking for help. The second day of the Sirius 500 clinic has gone well so far, 33 animals have been sterilised, even before the dog catchers returned with the first street dogs lots of locals had arrived to have thier animals sterilised. Daily updates from the field clinic aiming to sterilise 7 vaccinate 500 dogs and cats during the next 20 days. Sirius 500 Day 1
We had a fantastic Day 1 with 34 surgeries. The team treated 6 TVT cases during the day. For the next few days the clinic is based at Randeniya Temple which is where Dogstar started in 2006 after Sam had a chance meeting with a little dog called Mango . We think its rather fitting [...]
