Dogstar’s House Clinic 26th June
Tutu was the first patient and is being rehomed by Dogstar , he is on foster with Mrs J and came to clinic for a medicated bath ( for mange ).
Kittys owners brought her in for a Rabies vaccination.
Lassy is street dog who was hit by a car , a local hotel owner brought her to us and not only stayed with her for 3 hours but took her home to care for her.
Another Kitty aged 10 presented with injurgies consistent with a road traffic accident , her owner found her unable to walk in the morning and brought her straight to Dogstar. She has some reflexs in her hind legs so we are hoping she will regain full movement. Dr Ruwani and Dr Dinesh are seeing Kitty at home this evening.
Sudi , was attacked by another dog which perforated her larynx making it hard for her to breathe every time she took a breath she not only made a rasping sound but air was getting trapped under her sub cutaneous layer and making her expand like a balloon.
After the air was expelled a compression bandage was applied.
Bindu’s owners brought him in for his Rabies vaccination. He was pulling on his owners clothing and yapping. Sam could see how bright ( and bored he was ) and brought out her clicker and dog treats and had taught him to sit and wait quietly within 5 minutes !
Inpatient Sudu and Head of Security Tobias the cat wait for lunch…..
